60 Seconds! Atomic Adventure for iOS and Android
60 Seconds! The post-apocalyptic survival game by Robot Gentleman was first released back in 2015 on Steam.
There were so many sandbox type post-apocalyptic games being released those days that everything just seemed to blend together.
But not 60 Seconds!
Robot Gentleman took a different approach to their game by introducing a ‘Dark Humor’ sort of feel to the game which was very refreshing.
The idea is to grab as many resources as you can within 60 Seconds and take your family down to the shelter. And then from that point onwards, you will have to survive with whatever you managed to grab within that time.
That is because you get the warning about the nuclear blast only with 60 Seconds to left.
This makes for a really interesting game because, it is up to you to decide what to keep and what to let go, and to make crazy decisions in order to survive.
You might even think about, oh I don’t know, sacrificing one of your kids to save on food!
Yup, that’s the kind of Dark Humor that I was referring to.

In 2016, Robot Gentleman brought the game to the mobile platform, introducing the game to iOS and Android devices as 60 Seconds! Atomic Adventure.
As you would imagine, the game was very well received, and its game mechanics worked really well on touch screens.
The developers recently announced that 60 Seconds! Atomic Adventure has gone past the 1 million copies sold mark. At $3.99 a pop, that is some good money.
In honor of that achievement, the developers are now releasing new content in the form of downloadable DLC’s.
These DLC’s will be available sometime this year according to sources, however, what these will contain is anybody’s guess.
This is what Robot Gentlemen have to say about it, “Get ready to face a brand new challenge mode on mobile, which will put your scavenge phase skills to the test.”
Sounds like something very cool if you ask me. Whatever they are cooking up here, I’m in.
