Users will install the iOS update over-the-air (OTA) if they’re on a wifi network.
Simply head to Settings > General >Software update.
iOS will automatically check for the update and if the new version is available, it will ask you to download and install. Keep in mind that the OTA technique will require Wi-Fi and your iOS device will need to be sufficiently charged, over 50 per cent.
The second way to update iOS 12 is via iTunes.
Users will simply plug their iOS device into their Mac or Windows devices, run iTunes. Click on the iPhone/iPad symbol, and click on the ‘check for software’ and download and install the update.
