It was 3 years ago that Square Enix and Nexon Studios announced that the epic 2002 MMORPG Final Fantasy 11 will be rebooted on the mobile platform.
Even at that time, this project seemed a long long way away, and we were right.
Final Fantasy 11 on mobile was still in the early planning phase.
Back in 2016, there were some not-so-good-looking pictures released, but apart from that, there was nothing.
With absolutely no information after that, we had almost lost all hope.
That is until we saw the Job Posting on Nexon, hiring people for the Final Fantasy 11 mobile project! Along with screenshots of the game!
According to sources, this was not the first job posting for Final Fantasy 11 mobile project, and if you look at the date of the posting you will see that the posting date is actually in January 2018.
However, we got to know that the pictures were uploaded only last month.
So it is safe to say that, this is indeed happening, and we can be excited once again.
The bad news is that we have no idea when the finished product will see the light of day.
3 more years from now? Who knows
The good news is that the Final Fantasy 11 on mobile is not dead, and that is good enough for now.
Should there be more news that leaks out from our sources, you will be the first to know.
Until then, you can check out Final Fantasy XV on mobile. If you have not tried it already, just one question, why?
