Fortnite Battle Royale for iOS – Yes it happened!

Here is something we have all been waiting for, Fortnite Battle Royale in the palm of your hands. It is no surprise that this game is the hottest game in the world right now.

Fortnite for iOS is literally breaking down barriers with its cross-platform transitions.

Same Game

Just so everyone is clear, Fortnite mobile is the same exact game as the console version. That is in itself is super impressive. Yes, the graphics have been scaled down a bit, but that is expected.

Still, who would have thought we will be playing FORTNITE on our mobiles, in March 2018.

What’s so great about Fortnite

What makes  Fortnite Battle Royale for iOS stand out is that it does not feel like a generic military shooter.

The game is so beautiful to look at, and the characters are so fun to play, which makes Fornite stand out from the crowd.

This in comparison to PUBG, makes Fortnite better in every way.

The game is funny, colorful, and stunning in its visuals. Even the small things like the sunset is something to experience.

The environments are so beautifully designed and are so engaging,  it completely drags you in. Fortnite is a total experience when compared to other battle royale games out there. Fortnite even has a toilet factory.

What other game has that!

Why Fortnite is top notch

Keeping all the funny aspects of the game aside, Fortnite is a very serious title. The game does a fantastic job at instilling panic in you when you feel someone is near.

This really puts you on the edge of your seat.

In general, why these battle royale game are so popular is because of the value it gives to players.

In the heat of battle, you never know when your end would come, and that tension you feel carries on throughout the game.

You have no idea where your enemy is hiding or from where they will pop out, or getting into huge firefights without knowing whether you will win or lose.

Do you want to charge in with your whole team and cause full-on chaos or do you want to take a more stealth approach? What about building structures and getting to know that your enemy has a rocket launcher?

These are the things that make battle royale games so good, and Fortnite does all of these things, better than everyone else.

Something to look at

One thing that the mobile version of Fortnite will need to improve on is the building aspect.

If you have played the console version or even the PC version, you would immediately notice that it takes too much time.

Also, we would like to see item descriptions on the mobile version as well.

Still brilliant!

Regardless of those things, 10 minutes into the game, you completely forget that you are playing FORTNITE on a mobile device. YOU ARE PLAYING FORTNITE ON YOUR MOBILE PHONE.

It is not a different game, it is just that you will be moving to a different control scheme.

Just like moving from mouse and keyboard to a console controller.

In conclusion

I am so happy that this happened. Fortnite jumping on the mobile wagon is going to cause a lot of commotion among other major developers.

We need Big developers to take mobile seriously and see its potential. Hopefully, this will be an eye-opener for a lot of people, and we will start seeing more and more games coming to mobile.

Fortnite is proof that it can be done.

Not everyone can get Fornite just yet, as it is not available everywhere. However, we predict that this game is going to be huge, especially in places like China, and when it does blow up, it’s going to cause total HAVOC.

This is exactly what we have been waiting for. For developers to take a chance on mobile because it just makes sense. The market and the potential is huge.

Hopefully, this will cause developers to think about mobile releases along with the console releases.

Maybe not anytime soon, but this will eventually happen when mobile hardware catches up with the big boys.

Until then we have Fortnite, and if you excuse me, I have a date with my couch and my phone. Take care guys!
